Giresun University ranked 1353rd in the world and 29th in Turkey in the rankings based on academic work carried out over the last 5 years.

Giresun University's success in the field of “Artificial neural network,” which is the most important area of artificial intelligence, is noteworthy. In country-based rankings, Turkey ranks second in the world in this field after China, followed by Iran, India, and the United States.

Giresun University has managed to enter the top 100 worldwide in five keywords in the ranking covering all years. Among these keywords are Artificial neural network (27th in the world) and Forecasting (69th in the world).
